Liverpool fail to secure Chelsea defender deal

In contrast, Chelsea's management has insisted on the necessity of selling Malo Gusto's contract permanently, rejecting the idea of his departure on loan during the current summer transfer window. This has led to a clear disagreement between the two clubs regarding the terms of the deal.

Negotiations between Liverpool and Chelsea have come to a complete halt, as the Reds lack the financial resources to finalize the deal at this time, meaning Malo Gusto will remain with the London club for the foreseeable future.
