Gnonto joins ACF Fiorentina on loan

ACF Fiorentina have reached an agreement with Leeds United to sign Italian winger Wilfried Gnonto on loan, in a deal that was finalized through a verbal agreement between the two clubs, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The deal includes a buy option in favor of ACF Fiorentina, after Leeds United agreed to include it in the agreement, while the Italian club will cover Gnonto's full salary during his loan period.

The player is set to undergo medical examinations on Tuesday as he prepares to complete his transfer to ACF Fiorentina, after both parties gave the green light to finalize the deal.

Gnonto is set to embark on his first experience in Serie A after starting his career with Zurich before moving to Leeds in 2022, where he scored 23 goals in 147 matches for the English club across all competitions.
