Difficult start for Lucas Digne in his second return to Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain believe Digne needs to show a greater desire to fight for his position, especially as his absence from the starting lineup against Lille, despite Nuno Mendes not participating, was seen as an early warning from Luis Enrique to the former FC Barcelona player.

According to L'Équipe, a source within Paris Saint-Germain stated that the club is waiting for a stronger reaction from Lucas Digne, emphasizing that the player needs to fight and try to surpass Nuno Mendes, who will not participate in every match. This is noted as part of Digne's adaptation phase with the team.

The club has also noticed that Lucas Digne has not yet reached his best physical condition, similar to several players who participated in the World Cup. However, those close to the player confirm that he has a strong drive and is ready to fight for his place, although Digne is aware of his need to raise his level quickly.

Lucas Digne has returned to Paris after 13 years away, in a deal worth €10 million, which is the release clause in his contract with Aston Villa.
