Officially.. Al-Ettifaq signs Abdallah Kanté until 2030
Al-Ettifaq have officially signed Ivorian Abdallah Kante from Middlesbrough, allowing the player to continue his career with the Saudi Arabian team under a contract that extends until 2030.
Al-Ettifaq welcomed their new signing via their official account on the X platform, posting a message that read: "A new chapter... titled stability and strength," in celebration of the player's joining the team.
Abdullah Kante is 21 years old and is expected to be registered among the youth players in Al-Ettifaq's squad, becoming one of the young talents the club is counting on for the future.
The Ivorian player has joined Al-Ettifaq after his stint with Middlesbrough, taking on a new challenge in Saudi Arabian football.
The deal reflects Al-Ettifaq's direction towards strengthening their squad with younger players, allowing them the opportunity to develop and gain experience in the coming years, especially with Kanté's contract extending until 2030.
According to data from Transfermarkt, the market value of the young Ivorian player is around 5 million euros, which reflects the technical value he represents within the Al-Ettifaq project.
