Al-Ettifaq announce the signing of Talal Haji on loan

Al-Ettifaq have signed young striker Talal Haji from Al-Ittihad on loan for the new season, allowing him to embark on a new experience with Al-Dahna Knight.

Al-Ettifaq announced the deal via their official account on the platform 'X', with a message stating: 'A new chapter for Talal with Al-Ettifaq for the sporting season.'

Haji has progressed through the youth teams at Al-Ittihad before being promoted to the first team, where he has participated in 13 matches, managing to score two goals and provide three assists.

The young striker has made history with the Saudi national team by becoming the second youngest player to join the Green Falcons, behind Ahmed Jamil, the former Al-Ittihad defender.

Haji has received his first call-up to the Saudi national team by Italian Roberto Mancini, the former coach of the Green Falcons, in preparation for matches against Pakistan and Jordan in November 2023.

Haji had a previous loan experience last season, moving to Riyadh in the winter transfer window, in search of a greater opportunity to participate and gain experience.

The young striker participated with Riyadh in 15 matches during his loan period, scoring just one goal, while he did not provide any assists during his appearances.

Al-Ettifaq hopes that the new experience will give Haji more space to develop and participate, after the club chose to benefit from his attacking abilities during the new sports season.
