Australian Arthur Papas, the head coach of Al-Ettifaq, has granted his players an 8-day break, taking advantage of the pause to reorganize and prepare for the upcoming phase.

Al-Ettifaq will resume training next Sunday at the club's stadium as part of the program set by the coaching staff to prepare the players before the official competitions restart.

Al-Ettifaq drew an exciting match 3-3 against their hosts Al-Qadsiah on Friday evening in the 7th round of the Saudi Pro League.

The match was part of the 'Eastern Derby' and witnessed significant excitement and clear rivalry between the two teams, before ending without either side managing to secure the three points.

Al Qadsiah have increased their tally to 16 points, placing them second in the Saudi Pro League standings, while Al Ettifaq now has 11 points, putting them in seventh place.

The technical staff of Al-Ettifaq aims to take advantage of the break to give players a chance to rest, while also working on physically and technically preparing the team for the return to the Saudi Pro League.

Papass has granted players a break following a tough match against Al Qadisiyah, with the team set to begin a new phase of preparations when training resumes next Sunday.

Al-Ettifaq hopes the break will help improve the readiness of its players ahead of upcoming challenges, as it seeks to enhance its position and continue to compete strongly throughout the season.
