Cagliari in Talks to Sign Canadian Talent from Fulham
Cagliari has entered negotiations with Fulham to sign young Canadian defender Luke DeVoguerolis, as the Italian club looks to bolster its backline ahead of the transfer window closing.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, in collaboration with Manuel Baiochini from Sky Sport, Cagliari is in talks with Fulham regarding the defender born in 2005, who is viewed as one of the promising talents in Canadian football.
De Fougères boasts international experience despite his youth, having participated with the Canada national team in the 2026 World Cup, where he played five matches in the tournament, including a Round of 16 clash against Morocco, which he started as a key player.
The defender had spent last season on loan at Dender in Belgium, where he made 30 appearances and provided two assists, before returning to Fulham, who currently list him in their first-team squad.
Cagliari continues its negotiations with the English club in hopes of reaching an agreement regarding the player's transfer, as De Foggierolis is viewed as a future investment, already possessing significant international experience despite being only 20 years old.
