Leipzig Thrashes Monchengladbach 3-0 in Bundesliga Opener

RB Leipzig made a strong start in the Bundesliga, thrashing their guests Borussia Mönchengladbach 3-0 in the opening round of the competition.

Ridle Baku opened the scoring for Leipzig in the 26th minute, before the Norwegian Antonio Nusa doubled the lead with a stunning goal in the 49th minute.

In the 66th minute, Rocco Wright added the third goal, following a decisive pass from Christopher Nkunku.

The match saw Christopher Nkunku return to RB Leipzig after an absence of nearly three years, coming on as a substitute in the 64th minute and celebrating his return by providing an assist.
