Vardy Secures Streaming Rights for 7 Bundesliga Matches on YouTube
Jamie Vardy, the former England and Leicester City striker, has become the latest name to enter the realm of broadcasting German Bundesliga matches, as his YouTube channel "Jamie Vardy’s Having a Party" has acquired the rights to stream seven live matches during the 2026-2027 season.
Seven Bundesliga matches will be broadcasted on Friday evening in the UK and Ireland, starting with the clash between Bayern Munich and Stuttgart in the season opener today.
Jamie Vardy will present matches alongside guests, in a live broadcast that includes analysis, reactions, and discussions about the key Bundesliga matches. This initiative is in partnership with Banijay Entertainment and production company Workerbee.
Jamie Vardy's entry into the streaming world comes as part of the Bundesliga's strategy to broaden its reach through content creator platforms, having also renewed its partnership with That’s Football, hosted by Mark Goldbridge, to broadcast 15 matches throughout the season.
