Grosso: We are monitoring Kean's situation and I trust Olai's abilities

Fabio Grosso, the head coach of Fiorentina, spoke about his team's preparations for the upcoming match against Frosinone, confirming that the squad has recovered well after the last game. Meanwhile, the status of striker Moise Kean is still under evaluation ahead of the encounter.

Grosso commented on Kean's condition: "Everything is developing for Moise, and we will see today when the players arrive on the pitch. I agree with what the management said in the pre-match phase. He has always shown me his readiness, but there are other dynamics to consider."

He added: "The group has worked well and recovered from a tough match, and I am aware of the pressure we will face tomorrow, especially with the importance of the match linked to the centenary."

Fiorentina's coach praised the abilities of player Olay, stating: "He has very important natural qualities and truly crazy potential. He is one of those players that Fiorentina can be proud of over time. We are in a rebuilding phase and trying to find different solutions, and he is one of the players who can start as a starter. He came on against Roma very well, and I was very impressed with him."

Grosso spoke about Valdívia and his approach to young players, explaining: "Sometimes you want to protect the player from certain situations, and at other times you believe that these specific experiences help him mature. I try to do things consistently. Against Roma, I chose to play João Mário because he already knew the Olimpico stadium. When things don't go well, we talk about confusion; otherwise, we describe it as intuition. We are on a path of rebuilding, and this path also requires experience."

Regarding Albert Gudmundsson, Grosso said: "I don't think sitting on the bench on Monday affected him. I saw a player full of enthusiasm and energy, and he is in very good shape."
