Palmer: This is my situation, we hope to achieve victories and win titles

Cole Palmer, the star of Chelsea, confirmed that his team faced a tough match during their 2-0 victory against Luton Town in the second round of the EFL Cup.

Palmer stated in an interview with Sky Sports after the match: "It was a tough game, we knew what they would do. No matter which team you face, when the opponent sits behind the ball, it becomes difficult to play against them, but credit must be given to Luton Town, they put in a good performance and it was a tough encounter."

Regarding his current condition, he added: "I feel good, now it's just about continuing and maintaining this level."

Palmer spoke about benefiting from his coach Xabi Alonso, saying: "He was a great player, so he gives me some little tips and tells me the positions I should move to, especially before matches when we study the opponent and know the areas we can exploit to hurt them."

He said: "The new players who joined the team, and even the players who were already here, know that last season wasn't good enough, and I believe everyone has reflected on themselves. There is a feeling that a different energy has entered the team this season."
