Aston Villa Secures Nicolas Jackson Deal

Aston Villa has finalized the deal to sign Senegalese forward Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea, having completed all the necessary procedures for the player's transfer, in a deal worth a total of £65 million.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the deal has been officially completed, following the completion of the necessary paperwork and Jackson passing his medical examination, making the Senegalese forward a player for Aston Villa.

The deal was concluded after negotiations between Chelsea and Aston Villa accelerated in recent hours, leading both parties to a final agreement regarding Jackson's move to Villa Park, for a base fee along with add-ons, totaling up to £65 million.

The arrival of the Senegalese striker comes at a time of changes in Aston Villa's forward line, especially with Ollie Watkins nearing a move to Al Hilal. Jackson has become one of the key options for coach Unai Emery to replace him.

The deal gives Jackson a chance to work again under Emery, who previously managed him at Villarreal. Jackson moved to Chelsea in the summer of 2023.

On the other hand, Jackson's experiment with Chelsea comes to an end, which saw periods of brilliance alongside fluctuations in form. The player also spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich.

According to confirmations from Fabrizio Romano, the deal is official, and Jackson has begun a new phase of his career wearing the Aston Villa shirt.
