Gnabry: Bayern Munich deserved to win against Freiburg and Kimmich and Kompany are a special matter

Serge Gnabry stated that Bayern Munich were the better side throughout their match against Freiburg, which ended in a 3-1 victory in the Bundesliga.

Gnabry added: "I think we were the better team throughout the match. Of course, the last 15 to 20 minutes were a bit difficult after they scored their goal to reduce the deficit, but we ultimately came away with a 3-1 victory, which shows our character and confirms our ability to maintain our composure even during tough periods."

He added: "Auba's goal was amazing, of course. I certainly didn't expect that from him before the match, but it was great to see the calmness with which he finished the attack."

Regarding Joshua Kimmich and Vincent Kompany, Gnabry said: "This is a private matter, so I will not comment on it. I just hope both return to us soon, and of course I wish them all the best."
