Adama Traore Heads to Spain to Complete Move to Deportivo La Coruna

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Spanish winger Adama Traoré will travel to Spain today, preparing to complete the formalities of his transfer to Deportivo La Coruña, where he will agree to the contract and sign to become the club's new player.

Traore, aged 30, has had a prolific career in European football; he progressed through Barcelona's academy before making his first-team debut, then moved to Aston Villa, followed by Middlesbrough, and had his most notable stint with Wolverhampton. He also returned briefly to Barcelona on loan in 2022, before playing for Fulham and West Ham United.

Adama Traoré, who has Malian roots, has also played 8 matches with the Spanish national team. He became a free agent after his contract with West Ham United ended last June.

If the deal is finalized, Deportivo La Coruña will be the new destination for the Spanish winger, who is preparing to embark on a new experience in Spanish football.
