Al Qadsiah has entered negotiations with Italian club Roma to secure the signing of young Polish defender Jan Ziółkowski during the current summer transfer window.

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the Saudi club has begun talks with Roma to explore the possibility of completing the transfer, as Al Qadisiyah seeks to bolster their defensive line before the transfer market closes.

Roma's management has set the value of Zalewski at around €20 million, which is the amount the Italian club is asking for to agree to sell the 21-year-old defender.

Ziółkowski joined Roma in the summer of 2025 from Legia Warsaw for around €6 million, but he has been unable to secure a starting spot in coach Gian Piero Gasperini's lineup, amid strong competition in the backline.

Negotiations between Al-Qadisiyah and Roma are still in their current stages, with no final agreement reached yet. Meanwhile, the player's stance on a move to the Saudi league remains a crucial factor in finalizing the deal.
