Chelsea is looking to loan their Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk to Strasbourg during the current transfer window, in an effort to give the player a better opportunity for participation and to regain his form.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea prefers a loan move for Mudryk to Strasbourg, while the London club previously rejected an offer from Leeds United for the Ukrainian player on loan.

This option does not align with Mudryk's wishes, as he prefers to continue in the Premier League and hopes to move to one of the clubs in the top flight rather than embark on a new experience in Ligue 1.

Mudryk's next destination remains uncertain, with Chelsea eager to loan him out while the player insists on the option to move to another club in the Premier League.

The 25-year-old player has been absent from official matches with Chelsea since November 2024, before being temporarily suspended in December of the same year, following a positive test for the banned substance "Meldonium" in one of his samples.

The English Football Association has imposed a four-year suspension on Mykhailo Mudryk, who is now appealing the decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

The court has decided to permit Modric to return to competition immediately, considering the suspension period he has served so far sufficient for the penalty, following his admission of violating anti-doping regulations.
