Rennes Eyeing Move for Lazio's Boulaye Dia

French club Rennes is contemplating the possibility of signing Senegalese striker Boulaye Dia, currently at Lazio, during this summer transfer window.

The French club is seeking to bolster its attacking options and has included Dia among the names it could pursue before the transfer window closes, as Rennes aims to enhance its squad for the new season.

Dia has joined Lazio from Salernitana, having played for the Italian side on loan before his transfer became permanent last June for around €11.3 million.

Dia is 29 years old and has previous experience in Ligue 1 with Reims, before moving to Villarreal and then having a stint in Serie A. He also holds Senegalese nationality and represents his national team.

The idea is still in the study phase for now, with anticipation over whether Rennes will turn their interest in the Senegalese striker into an official move during the final days of the transfer window.
