Allegri faces injury crisis ahead of Lazio clash

Napoli are preparing to face Lazio on Sunday amid a major crisis within the squad, as it has been confirmed that several key players will continue to be absent due to injury, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The newspaper reported that the duo Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Mathías Olivera will not be able to recover in time to participate against Lazio, pending the official announcement from the club regarding their injury diagnoses.

Massimiliano Allegri will find himself facing a long list of absentees, including Alisson Santos, Badashile, Bonifazi, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Favasuli, Lobotka, Neres, Mathías Olivera, and Spinazzola, which severely limits his options for the match lineup.

Allegri is expected to rely on a lineup similar to that which faced FC Porto, with the possibility of including some youth team players, while Kevin De Bruyne will continue to feature as a starter. SSC Napoli hopes to recover most of their injured players following the international break, starting with the match against Torino scheduled for November 21.
