Official: Hull City Signs Lukas Gurny-Duat from Salzburg

Hull City has officially announced the signing of French midfielder Lucas Gourna-Douath from RB Salzburg, bolstering the squad in preparation for the new season.

According to reports, the transfer fee was around €4 million, while the 23-year-old player signed a contract lasting 5 years, keeping him at Hull City until the summer of 2031.

Gourna-Douath excels in the defensive midfield position and has previously represented Saint-Étienne and Salzburg. He also had loan spells with Roma and Le Havre before securing a permanent transfer to the English club.

The deal is part of Hull City's efforts to strengthen their squad following their promotion to the Premier League, as the club hopes to benefit from the French midfielder's abilities and European experience in the upcoming season.
