Al Ahly Insists on Signing Mahmoud Salah from Ghazl El Mahalla

Ahmed Shobair has revealed the latest developments regarding Al Ahly's desire to sign Ghazl El Mahalla player Mahmoud Salah during the current summer transfer window.

Shobeir stated in a radio interview: "Ahly was surprised by Ghazl El Mahalla's financial demands, and the club set a ceiling for the player's contract. Ahly was supposed to open negotiations early."

He continued: "Mahmoud Salah plays as a forward and wears the number 10. I see that there are many players in both positions, but Al Ahly is insistent on signing the player, and I am against bringing in too many players in every transfer window."

Mamdouh Salah is one of the standout young talents to emerge from Ghazl El Mahalla, especially considering he was born in 2007. Despite his young age, he has been given the opportunity to participate with the first team and has successfully made the most of it, catching the attention of several clubs, most notably Al Ahly.
