Manchester City Closing in on Rulli Signing
Manchester City continues its efforts to strengthen the goalkeeper position, having entered advanced negotiations with Olympique Marseille to sign Argentine goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli during the current summer transfer window.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, discussions between the two clubs are moving positively, with a mutual desire to complete the deal.
Reports confirm that Manchester City has indeed made its first official offer to Marseille as part of its efforts to sign Rulli as a backup goalkeeper. The Argentine keeper has expressed his willingness to return to the English club, with which he was previously linked at the start of his professional career, although he never played a competitive match for them.
Negotiations are still ongoing between the two clubs to finalize the financial details, as sources indicate that Marseille is demanding an appropriate fee before agreeing to the departure of their first-choice goalkeeper. Meanwhile, Manchester City is working to finalize the agreement in the coming days.
