Hull City Agree Deal to Sign Noble Mendy from Rayo Vallecano

Hull City has reached a preliminary agreement with Spanish side Rayo Vallecano regarding the signing of Senegalese defender Noble Mendy, in a deal valued at around €20 million, plus €5 million in add-ons, according to the latest reports from the transfer market.

These developments come just days after Hull City submitted an initial €18 million bid to sign the player, which Rayo Vallecano was still considering on July 29, before negotiations advanced significantly towards a final agreement.

Rayo Vallecano has completed the permanent signing of Mendy from Real Betis last June, following an impressive season for the 21-year-old defender, who helped the team reach the UEFA Europa Conference League final. He also made his international debut with the Senegal national team this year.

Mendy, who excels as a center-back and left-back, is preparing for a new experience in the Premier League with Hull City, as current indications suggest that the deal is very close to completion, despite no official announcement from either club yet. Rayo Vallecano will also make a significant profit from the transfer after paying only around €3.5 million to acquire the player from Real Betis.
