Mohamed Abou Gabal Set to Join Moroccan League

Reports have emerged indicating that Egyptian international goalkeeper Mohamed Abou Gabal is close to embarking on a new adventure by joining the Moroccan league during the current summer transfer window.

Moroccan outlet "Sport 7" reported that Abu Jabal has reached a preliminary agreement with the management of Hassania Agadir, in preparation for joining the team ahead of the new football season.

The site reported that negotiations between Mohamed Abou Gabal and Hassania Agadir officials have reached an advanced stage, after both parties came to a preliminary agreement regarding the transfer of the former Egypt national team goalkeeper.

The Moroccan club is working to finalize the remaining details before sealing the deal and signing the final contract, without disclosing the duration of the contract or the potential financial compensation.

International goalkeeper Mohamed Abou Gabal has played for several Egyptian clubs, most notably Zamalek, Smouha, Al Ahly Bank, and Modern Sport. He has also appeared in 14 international matches for the Egypt national team, being one of the key figures and standout players for the "Pharaohs" during the Africa Cup of Nations 2021 held in early 2022.
