Nottingham Forest Close to Signing Ousmane Diomande
Nottingham Forest has entered advanced negotiations with Sporting Lisbon to acquire Ivorian defender Ousmane Diomande, as part of their efforts to strengthen their defense ahead of the new Premier League season.
According to reports, the deal is valued at around £30 million, with significant progress in negotiations between the two clubs, and expectations are high for the agreement to be finalized and officially announced within the week if everything goes according to plan.
Diamonda is considered one of the standout young defenders in Europe, having established himself as a key player for Sporting Lisbon thanks to his physical strength, speed, and ability to build play from the back. This has made him a target for several European clubs in recent times.
Nottingham Forest hopes to complete the deal quickly to strengthen their defense ahead of the season, as the coaching staff aims to add a young defender with great potential who can provide contributions in both the short and long term.
