Hamza Abdel Karim Scores First Goal for Barcelona's First Team
Young Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel Karim has opened his scoring account with the first team of FC Barcelona, netting his first goal in the team's friendly match against Club Europe during his debut under German coach Hans Flick.
Hamza was a key starter in the lineup that Flick relied on during the match, which took place on Friday evening as part of Barcelona's preparations for the 2026/2027 season. He successfully scored the second goal for his team.
The Egyptian player scored after half an hour into the match, which was held behind closed doors with no fans in attendance.
Barcelona has recently announced the permanent signing of Hamza Abdel Karim from Al Ahly, following the activation of his purchase clause in the contract. This comes after he joined the Catalan club on loan last January, where he played several matches with the youth team.
The 18-year-old Egyptian forward has joined the first-team training as Barcelona prepares for the new season, before scoring his first goal in the first team during his debut with Hans Flick's squad.
