Chelsea Signs Morgan Rogers Until 2033
Chelsea has officially announced the signing of English international Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa on a long-term contract that runs until the summer of 2033. This move aims to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2026-2027 season under the management of Xabi Alonso.
Rogers expressed his great happiness at completing the transfer, confirming that moving to Chelsea represents a dream for him. He said: "I am extremely excited. For me, Chelsea is the biggest club in London, and it's a team I have admired since my childhood."
He added: "I am excited about the new project with the coach, the quality of the players here, and the direction the club is heading. That’s why I am here, and I can’t wait to get started."
The 23-year-old English forward arrives at Stamford Bridge after establishing himself as one of the top attacking talents in the Premier League, contributing to 40 goals through scoring and assisting during his time at Aston Villa across 85 matches in the league, helping the team finish in the top four before clinching the Europa League title last season.
On the international stage, Rogers has become a key player for the England national team since his debut in November 2024, having played 22 international matches. He also represented the "Three Lions" in the 2026 World Cup.
The deal has cost Chelsea's coffers £117 million.
