Manchester United is planning to bring Marcus Rashford back into first-team training in preparation for the new season, following the conclusion of his participation with the England national team in the 2026 World Cup. This comes amid difficulties in securing a transfer to any club during the current period.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, head coach Michael Carrick wants to work with Rashford during the preparations for the new season, seeing him as part of the team's project at this time. However, there remains the possibility of his departure if a suitable offer comes in from one of the major clubs.

Reports have suggested that Rashford is not currently thinking about a transfer to the Turkish league, despite some speculation linking him to clubs there. He prefers to wait for an opportunity to move to a big European club if he decides to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Marcus Rashford is under contract with Manchester United until the summer of 2028, while Michael Carrick aims to assess the player closely during the pre-season before making a final decision regarding his future with the team for the upcoming season.
