Al Nassr in Advanced Talks to Sign Samu Costa
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Al Nassr is making significant progress in negotiations to sign Portuguese midfielder Samu Costa from Real Mallorca during the current summer transfer window.
According to Romano, Samu has already agreed to a transfer to the Saudi league despite receiving a formal offer from German club Leipzig, which gives Al Nassr a clear edge in the race to sign the player.
Al Nassr's management has selected Samo Costa to be the direct replacement for Croatian Marcelo Brozovic after his exit from the club. Negotiations between the two clubs are still ongoing to reach a final agreement.
Samu Costa is considered one of the standout midfielders in La Liga during the last season, where he caught attention with his impressive defensive abilities and vitality in the midfield. This has prompted Al Nassr to move quickly to secure his signing as part of their project to strengthen the team for the new season.
