Four Al Nassr players continue rehabilitation on rest day before Tashkent trip
Four Al Nassr players took advantage of the rest day granted by Australian coach Ange Postecoglou to continue their treatment and rehabilitation programs in preparation for upcoming commitments, including the match against Pakhtakor.
The training exemption decision included the rest of the players, except for the goalkeepers Raghed Al-Najjar and Mubarak Al-Bouainin, defender Nader Al-Sharari, and midfielder Saad Haqwi, who attended the Dar Al-Nasr center on Friday evening.
The quartet completed recovery training and rehabilitation sessions at the center, each player suffering from a different injury, with varying start times for their treatment programs.
Al Nassr will depart for Ahsa on Saturday morning by bus before taking a flight to Tashkent in the afternoon, in preparation for their match against Pakhtakor on Monday in the AFC Champions League Elite.
After the Asian encounter, the delegation will head from the Uzbek capital to the Al-Qassim region to continue preparations ahead of the match against Al Hazm on Friday, in the 13th round of the Saudi Pro League.
Al Nassr secured a 5-3 victory over Al-Kholood last Thursday in Riyadh, in the twelfth round of the Saudi Pro League, prompting Postecoglou to grant his players a one-day break.
The team will not hold any training sessions in Al Riyadh before traveling to Uzbekistan, due to the preparation schedule being linked to the travel dates and the journey to Tashkent.
