PSG Agrees to Sign Lucas Digne

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Paris Saint-Germain has reached a verbal agreement with French left-back Lucas Digne to join the team during the current summer transfer window.

According to Romano, the Parisian club has informed Aston Villa that they will pay the player's release clause after the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup, with the transfer fee expected to be less than €10 million.

The report indicates that Digne has accepted his role within the team, agreeing to serve as a backup for Portuguese left-back Nuno Mendes.

Digne brings extensive experience in European football, having played for several prominent clubs including Barcelona, Everton, and Aston Villa, and he also has significant international experience with the French national team.

An official announcement regarding the transfer is expected once the final procedures are completed and the release clause is paid, making Digne one of PSG's reinforcements for the new season.
