Juventus Sets Condition to Revive Tomori Deal
Juventus has reopened discussions to sign English defender Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan during the summer transfer window, but the completion of the deal hinges on the departure of one of their defenders.
According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport," Juventus views Tomori as a suitable option due to his experience in Serie A, aligning with the requirements of head coach Luciano Spalletti.
The report adds that the management will not move to finalize the deal until Federico Gatti departs, who is among the top candidates to leave the team this summer.
Gatti has attracted interest from Napoli, and there are possibilities for a move to the Turkish league, while his sale would generate significant financial returns for Juventus.
The report also indicates that Tomori, whose contract with Milan runs until 2027, may be more open to a transfer this time, especially after the arrival of Mario Giola, which could reduce his role within the team.
The same source confirmed that Milan could benefit financially from selling Tomori, while Juventus awaits Gatti's departure before taking any official steps to complete the deal.
