Yildiz Injury Raises Concerns at Juventus
Fears are growing at Juventus over the fitness of Turkish star Kenan Yildiz, as he continues to suffer from a chronic knee injury that may require surgery in the near future.
Yildiz is considered a key player in Juventus' project, having been given a new high-paying contract and assigned the number 10 shirt, but the injury has clearly affected his performance in recent months.
According to "Tuttosport", the player is suffering from chronic inflammation in one of his tendons, an injury that worsens with increased physical load on the knee, making the problem persistent.
The newspaper added that Yildiz's participation with the Turkish national team in the 2026 World Cup contributed to the worsening of the injury, as he played through the tournament using strong braces and painkillers, while conservative treatment remains the first option for managing his condition.
If the treatment does not yield the desired results, Juventus and the player may consider surgery during the summer to clean the tendon, after which he would begin a rehabilitation program.
Yildiz is currently on a break following his participation in the World Cup, and he is set to return to Turin on July 20 to join Juventus' preparations for the new season.
