Juventus is facing difficulties in finalizing two of its key signings during the summer transfer window, as negotiations for French striker Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain and Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa have stalled, contradicting head coach Luciano Spalletti's expectations ahead of the new season's preparations.

According to Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport," Spalletti was hoping to have a new striker and goalkeeper in place before the training camp set to begin on July 13, but negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa have yet to make any progress.

The report added that Jeff Iketoru may be the only summer signing to join the team's training as preparations commence next week, given the ongoing stalemate regarding the two main signings.

Regarding the Emiliano Martinez deal, La Gazzetta dello Sport clarified that Juventus is unwilling to pay more than 6 to 7 million euros to secure the goalkeeper, who is currently participating with the Argentina national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

As for Kolo Muani, the newspaper noted that Paris Saint-Germain has raised its financial demands to around 50 million euros, while Juventus is holding firm with an offer not exceeding 40 million euros, through a loan deal that includes an obligation for the club to purchase the player later.

Kolo Muani remains Spalletti's top choice to bolster Juventus' attack, but the ongoing disagreement between the two clubs over the financial terms makes finalizing the deal uncertain at this time.
