Abdou Diallo Set to Join Abha

Abha has finalized an agreement with Senegalese defender Abdou Diallo, preparing to sign him during the summer transfer window on a two-year contract, pending the completion of official procedures and the announcement of the deal.

The Abha management aims to strengthen their defense with an experienced player as they prepare for the new season, having chosen the 30-year-old Senegalese defender.

Diallo has an impressive professional career, starting at the Monaco academy before moving to Mainz, then Borussia Dortmund, and later Paris Saint-Germain.

The Senegalese defender also had stints with RB Leipzig on loan, before transferring to Al Arabi in Qatar, and then playing for Al Duhail, continuing his career in Asian football.

On the international stage, Diallo has represented Senegal, contributing to their victory in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and participating with the "Lions of Teranga" in the 2022 World Cup.

Abdou Diallo is known for his proficiency as a center-back, with the ability to play as a left-back, providing Abha's coaching staff with multiple tactical options if the deal is officially completed.
