Sharjah Signs Defender Dini Borges

The UAE's Sharjah Club has officially announced the signing of international defender Dini Borges, a player for the Cape Verde national team, on a two-year contract from Al Bataeh, as part of the team's preparations for the new season.

Borges is considered one of the top defenders in the UAE league in recent years and has international experience with the Cape Verde national team, having represented them in several continental and international competitions, including the World Cup.

The signing of the 30-year-old defender is part of Sharjah's management strategy to strengthen the backline with experienced and quality players to compete in all local and continental tournaments next season.

Borges is expected to join the team's training sessions in the coming days, preparing to enter the training program for the new season after completing all transfer procedures from Al Bataeh.
