Brazilian player Malcom Felipe was absent from Al Hilal's group training session during today's Friday practice, as part of the ongoing preparations for the upcoming match against Sharjah of the UAE in the AFC Champions League Elite.

Al Hilal Club explained through its official account on the "X" platform that Malcolm's absence was due to a bout of gastroenteritis, which required him to rest and refrain from participating in training sessions.

On the other hand, Hamad Al-Yami participated in the first part of the training session before continuing his rehabilitation program, bringing him closer to returning and joining the team in the near future.

Italian coach Simone Inzaghi is working on preparing goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Rubaie to be the first-choice option in the absence of the Moroccan Yassine Bono, who is currently with his national team.

Al Hilal continues its preparations to face the UAE's Sharjah, scheduled for next Monday, as part of the sixth round of the group stage in the AFC Champions League Elite.
