Milan Secures Mario Gila Deal, Real Madrid the Big Winner

AC Milan has reached a full agreement with Lazio to sign Spanish defender Mario Gila, a deal confirmed by journalist Fabrizio Romano with his famous "Here We Go" tagline, strengthening Milan's defense ahead of the new season under coach Ruben Amorim.

According to reports, a verbal agreement was reached between the two clubs after Gila agreed to sign a five-year contract, expressing his desire to leave Lazio and join Milan's sporting project. The deal is estimated to be worth around €30 million.

Real Madrid will benefit from the transfer, as they hold 50% of the sale value of Mario Gila under the agreement made when the player moved from the Spanish club to Lazio in the summer of 2022, which will net the Spanish club approximately €15 million from the transfer.

Gila is expected to undergo medical examinations in the coming hours before signing the contracts and the official announcement of the deal, making him one of Milan's key defensive reinforcements in the current summer transfer market.
