Everton Signs Tariq George on a Deal Until 2030
Everton has officially announced the signing of young English winger Tariq George from Chelsea on a four-year deal until the summer of 2030, after spending the second half of last season on loan with the club.
According to reports, the transfer fee is set at £18 million as a fixed amount, plus £6 million in performance-related incentives, while Chelsea retains 15% of any future sale of the player.
George, 20, is regarded as one of Chelsea's top academy graduates, having joined the academy at the age of eight. He has made 37 appearances for the first team, scoring 6 goals, before making a permanent move to Everton after impressing the coaching staff during his loan spell.
The player expressed his happiness at completing the transfer, stating that his previous experience with Everton made him eager to return permanently, while manager David Moyes showed confidence in the young winger's ability to develop and contribute to the team in the coming seasons.
