Sole Rejects Move to Saudi League
Argentinian Matias Soule is determined to stay in Europe despite the growing interest from Saudi league clubs in acquiring his services during the summer transfer window.
The newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" reported that the clubs Al-Ahli, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Hilal have expressed their desire to sign the Roma player and are willing to pay 40 million euros, which is the amount the Italian club is asking for to agree to his sale.
This comes at a time when Roma is looking to sell some of its players before the end of the current month to meet the requirements of financial fair play rules.
Despite the financial allure of the offer, 23-year-old Souli is not currently interested in leaving Europe, while he continues to attract interest from other clubs, most notably Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund.
"Football Italia" added that Roma might consider signing Mason Greenwood from Marseille if they succeed in selling Solly during the summer transfer window.
