The young Spanish defender Jacobo Ramon is attracting the attention of several European clubs after his performances with Como last season. According to "The Athletic," Chelsea has included the player on its list of targets to strengthen the defense during the summer transfer window.

Ramon, aged 21, delivered an outstanding season with Como after joining the team from Real Madrid's academy last summer for 2.5 million euros. The Spanish defender participated in 37 matches across various competitions, including the Italian league and the Coppa Italia, and scored two goals from the center-back position.

Chelsea's interest in the player stems from his previous acquaintance with coach Xabi Alonso, who recently took over managing the London team. Alonso had previously worked with Ramon during his time at Real Madrid's academy in the 2018/2019 season, which strengthens the English club's desire to sign him.

Despite the significant increase in the player's market value over the past few months, Como will not fully benefit from any future sale. Real Madrid retains the right to receive 50% of the transaction value, in addition to having a clause that allows them to repurchase the player in the future.
