Thomas Araujo Enters Real Madrid's Considerations

The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' reported that the name of Portuguese defender Thomas Araujo, a 24-year-old Benfica player, has been proposed among Real Madrid's options, especially after his impressive performances under coach Jose Mourinho at Benfica.

The same source clarified that Real Madrid has not made any official move so far to sign the player, despite initial interest, given the strong competition from other clubs to acquire him.

In the same context, the Portuguese newspaper 'Correio da Manha' indicated that Bayern Munich has also shown interest in signing Araujo, while Benfica has set the player's release clause at 80 million euros, confirming that they will not compromise on this amount in any potential negotiations.
