The Danish star Christian Eriksen reassured fans about his health condition following the incident during the friendly match against Ukraine, confirming that he has returned home and is spending time with his family after receiving the necessary medical care.

Eriksen said in a message posted on his Instagram account: "I would like to tell you all that I am fine, and I am now at home with my family. As you can imagine, the sudden electric pulse delivered by the pacemaker implanted in my chest to save me was a difficult experience for me and my family, but I want to reassure everyone that this situation was completely different from what happened in Euro 2020."

The Danish international added that he has already begun his recovery journey, expressing his gratitude to all the players and medical staff who assisted him on the field, as well as the doctors who have overseen his health in recent years, praising their significant role in maintaining his well-being.

Eriksen concluded his message by affirming that the implanted device performed the task it was designed for and protected him when he needed it. He noted that he will focus in the coming period on recovery, spending time with his family, enjoying his vacation, and playing with his children.
