Nordic Nations Withdraw Confidence in Infantino

The football associations of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and the Faroe Islands have announced their withdrawal of confidence in FIFA President Gianni Infantino, in a rare collective move.

The decision came after a meeting held in Helsinki, where the six federations expressed their concerns regarding FIFA's management and the decision-making mechanisms within the organization at the highest levels.

European football federations have confirmed their support for UEFA's position, which called for administrative reforms within FIFA. This comes in light of an investment plan linked to Gianni Infantino that was later retracted.

The federations stated in a joint statement that they "no longer trust the FIFA president," emphasizing their support for UEFA and the measures proposed by the organization and its member federations, as pressure on Infantino mounts from various continental and national federations.
