Officially: Injury Excludes Ibrahim Sabra from Jordan's World Cup Squad
The Jordan Football Association announced the injury of its player Ibrahim Sabra, who plays for Croatian club Lokomotiva Zagreb, which officially means his absence from the World Cup.
The association clarified that the injury is a tear in the ligaments of the left ankle, which will prevent him from continuing to participate with Jordan in the World Cup.
The association added that the medical examinations the player underwent showed that he sustained the injury during training, necessitating his entry into a special treatment and rehabilitation program to ensure his full recovery and return to the field.
Based on the medical report, it was decided to exclude Sabra from the Jordanian national team squad participating in the 2026 World Cup.
