New Details in Zamalek's Crisis with Salah El-Din Mossadek
The media personality Ahmed Shobeir announced updates related to the crisis between Zamalek Club and its former player Salah El-Din Mossadek, which resulted in the decision to suspend the disciplinary registration.
In a radio statement, Shobier said: "Salah's verified monthly salary is $21,000 with Zamalek, and by November 2025, the player was owed three months' salary, amounting to $62,000, but Zamalek only sent $20,000 to the player."
He clarified: "The player now has the right to unilaterally terminate the contract and demand the full amount of his contract with interest, bringing the total to approximately $820,000."
He added: "Strangely, Zamalek refused to sell the player to Morocco's Wydad a few months before the events and declined to pay $42,000 to keep the player."
He continued: "The reason for the disciplinary suspension from FIFA is that Zamalek made allegations against the player, which FIFA considered a misrepresentation of justice and a repetition of inappropriate behavior in dealing with players."
Shobeir concluded: "The big clubs in Egypt are no longer able to draft contracts and are always getting into trouble with the players."
