Ahmed Suleiman, a board member of Zamalek Club, spoke about the suspension crisis of the club's registration and reassured the club's fans, confirming the team's participation in the African Champions League next season.
Suleiman said in statements on "MBC Egypt" channel: "All the talk about Zamalek not participating in the African Champions League is (a mirage) and untrue."
He added: "There is currently a settlement taking place regarding registration suspension issues, and the license is linked to cases that occurred before March 31."
He continued: "I urge social media and Zamalek fans to remain calm. We have two months ahead regarding the local and African license."
He concluded: "Rest assured, Zamalek fans, we will play in the African Champions League next season."
