Shobeir Comments on Zamalek Club's Crisis with Omar Farag
The media personality Ahmed Shobeir commented on the ongoing dispute between Zamalek Club and its former player Omar Farag, following the striker's departure from the team and the termination of his contract. He highlighted the decision by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to impose a financial fine on the White Castle.
In a radio statement, Shobier said: "Omar Farag's disaster, we are laughing at the Kamouish deal and saying it cost Al Ahly a lot of money and he didn't participate."
He continued: "But how many minutes did Omar Faraj play? For example, half an hour or an hour and he scored only one goal, and how much did he cost Zamalek in fines from FIFA that arrived yesterday? 1.7 million dollars with an annual interest of 5%."
He continued: "The contracts we see at Al Ahly and Zamalek nowadays are laughable; no one can draft a single contract that protects their club's rights."
