Roma Competes with Milan and Tottenham for Signing Moise Kean

Roma has entered the race to sign Italian striker Moise Kean, a player for Fiorentina, joining the list of clubs interested in acquiring him, which also includes Milan and Tottenham Hotspur, amid increasing chances of the player leaving Fiorentina at the end of the season.

The "Calcio Mercato" website mentioned that Roma's move to sign Kean is linked to securing qualification for the UEFA Champions League, as the team needs to win against Hellas Verona in the final round of the Italian league to ensure European participation.

Coach Gian Piero Gasperini is one of the biggest admirers of Kean's potential, as he believes that the 26-year-old player is capable of forming a strong attacking duo with Donyell Malen, who was permanently signed by Roma from Aston Villa for 25 million euros.

The report indicated that Fiorentina is asking for around 45 million euros to agree to sell Kean, while Roma plans to reduce the financial value by including Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk in the deal.

Nevertheless, the deal faces a significant obstacle in the form of Dovbyk's high salary, which does not align with Fiorentina's wage policy. This could complicate the idea of an exchange and prompt Roma to seek a different arrangement to complete the deal.
