Bayern Munich announced on its official website that the team will continue to rely on the current goalkeeping staff, after extending the contracts of Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich until June 30, 2027, alongside Jonas Urbig remaining within the group, forming a complete unit in the goalkeeper position for the upcoming season.

The club president confirmed that Manuel Neuer holds an exceptional place in the club's history, being a leader and role model both on and off the field, noting that his influence has extended for more than a decade within Bayern Munich.

For his part, the CEO explained that Neuer is considered one of the most prominent signings in the club's history, having played nearly 600 matches in the Bayern Munich jersey, confirming that the contract extension reflects his great value and continued high-level performances despite reaching 40 years old, along with praising Ulreich's role as a stabilizing element within the team.

In the same context, sporting director Max Eberl pointed out that the club has a clear plan for the goalkeeper position, explaining that Neuer, Ulreich, and Urbig form one group with each having a specific role, with efforts to develop the young goalkeeper to be part of the team's future.

This announcement confirms the continuation of Manuel Neuer in protecting the team's goal since joining in 2011, along with Ulreich continuing his journey with the club that began in 2015, ensuring complete stability in this position for the upcoming phase.
