The management board of Wydad Athletic Club announced in an official statement issued today its decision to collectively resign, which will be formally presented at the upcoming ordinary electoral general assembly. This step is taken based on the principle of respecting the responsibilities and current commitments that the board holds towards the club and its components.

In the context of administrative arrangements for the upcoming phase, the club announced the opening of membership registration for the 2026/2027 sports season. The period for submitting applications is set from May 5, 2026, to June 5, 2026, in accordance with the legal terms and procedures in effect within the club's institution.

The announcement also included the opening of candidacy submissions for the presidency of Wydad Athletic Club, from June 5, 2026, to June 20, 2026, as a preparatory step for the ordinary and electoral general assembly, which will result in the election of new leadership to manage the affairs of the Red Castle.
